I would frame it when done and gift it back to them.
I did a big grocery shop today and left two bags in the car and didn’t remember until 3 hours or so later. One was salvageable, fruit and such, the other was frozen stuff, so had to be tossed. The frozen one had Fry staples and my pregnancy craving pizza. Overall I’m sad.
That sucks!!! I’d be sad too.
I would cry.
Pizza is serious business.
I’d have debated long and hard about that pizza, tbh.
If I wasn’t pregnant I’d do it, but I’m being extra conservative with food safety.
I get it @Afishwish! That makes me sad for you though. Frozen pizza is a nice pregnancy treat in this house.
Me: oh, I need to be quiet while P is in his meeting.
Also me: trips over own feet and bumps into work desk and drops a couple of f bombs on way down
I made an Amazon order yesterday and realized when I got the shipping notification I didn't use the chicken link.
Today it was really cold, so I got my normal puffy coat and waddled out to the car. I noticed the coat was a bit snug but figured it wouldn’t be a problem. Then I grunted and wiggled my way into the car, because that’s how it is now. Rooster then turned around and told me “that’s not going to zip”. It became apparent pretty quickly that he was right. I then forlornly waddled back to the house to get his puffy jacket to wear.
I am surprised I haven't posted this before because, sadly, I've done this at least one other time.
My hair and scalp were being all sorts of weird at work all day. Plus the dry shampoo scent was so damn strong but wrong. Oh. OH. I sprayed Dove deodorant instead of dry shampoo into my hair last night.
Well at least your hair didn’t sweat today!
I bought 13 gallon bags instead of 3 gallon for our kitchen compost bucket. I’m out of 3 gallon so am using them anyways, but it looks pretty silly.
I scratched my eye taking out my contacts tonight. I’ve only taken out contacts like a million times. WTF It feels like a minor scratch so hopefully it heals in a day or two.
Ooof just imagining that gives me the willies
Yeah, I’m ok talking/thinking about it when it’s my own eye but I get a little squicked out when it’s other people’s eyes. Good news, it healed overnight and was fine on Tuesday.
Yay for healing!
I had a patient recently who was post-op (and op and op) from a ruptured eye globe and even though it was fixedish, I still cringed every time I thought about the initial injury.
We were joking around at the end of the shift, and I ended up hurting someone's feelings. I had apologized in the moment, but I found out after the fact that she took it harder than she let on.
She had helped the charge nurse with the night shift assignments, and I asked her what a certain nurse had done to piss her off to get assignments at both ends of the long hallway. We were all laughing, even her, then she did (what I thought) was a big playful pouty face.
That is kind of a dick move though. (her assignment, not you laughing about it)
I keep accidentally clicking "follow' on IG Reels when I'm wasting time and then getting surprised/annoyed when these weird ass randoms show up in my feed.
I was so good yesterday to limit caffeine to help me sleep better. I managed to actually get into bed before 11pm. I got out of bed after the first alarm this am. I didn't dawdle and made it to work with plenty of time to make the coffee in the breakroom.
I am NOT on the schedule today but for tomorrow.
Nooo! Go treat yourself to a nice breakfast.
I should have but went home and did chores instead. #wildwoman
