http://www.someecards.com/life/food-drink/starbucks-cup-barista-trolling/ This is actually pretty awesome. A Starbucks employee has been intentionally placing the order sticker on drink logos so tweens and teens can't instagram their picture-perfect frappuccino. The only issue I see (as a regular visitor to the 'buck) is that when it is hot, the cold drinks will sweat, and those stickers come off really easily.
I think that post was right on two fronts: those drinks are too sloppy to photograph anyway, and, "Does a sticker on the logo really, actually annoy real human beings?"
That's hilarious. They usually put stickers on cold drinks anyway, though, right? I haven't been in a few days. (btw, mistake - Tim's iced coffee is gross)
True. If the drinks weren't so messy, people could still share pictures of the side without the siren logo. Sorry you get 0.0001% less free advertising today, Starbucks.
I had an actual Tim Hortons Iced Capp addiction for quite a while. I couldn't start my day without one, even in the winter. The medium size is something like 500 calories, plus I would have breakfast. So glad I stopped that. I'll have the rare one now though just for fun.
I made J go to a Tim's in Rochester while I was there, it's only a few minutes drive from our townhouse. And was shocked to learn they discontinued the blueberry fritter TWO YEARS AGO. I have been away from Canada for too long He got a hot coffee drink but liked my Iced Capp better. I only let him have one sip.
Mmmmm, starbucks iced cold brew with skim milk and 2 quirts of sugar free hazlenut... Diet friendly and delicious. I'm really, really dragging today- I think I'll make a trip to the bucks even though it's a billion degrees outside right now. And I don't care where they put the sticker.
I tried Dunkin Donuts butter pecan iced coffee. It was horrible. She asked if I wanted cream or sugar and I said no. Because butter pecan. Should be sweet and creamy enough, right? Guess not. And I'm stubborn so I just drank it gross instead of adding my own cream and sugar. Or throwing it out. That could have been an option too.
@yesmaster I have atleast one cup of Tim Hortons coffee a day. It is an expensive habit but I have it shipped to North Carolina. I would consider committing murder for some blueberry Timbits.
If it costs an outrageous amount, you do have lots of chickens very near Tim Hortons. Just sayin. No idea if that would be any more cost effective though.
@nettysgirl Dunkin Donuts flavored coffee can be hit or miss. You have to take a good look at the menu to see what flavors are roasted into the beans and what flavors are syrups. Half the time I get an iced coffee there the coffee is suuuuper burned. That's why I don't go often, and when I do, I get the sugar bombs with flavor syrups, or half coffee-half hot chocolate.
I used to work with a bunch of people who thought Dunkin was all that and got it for the communal pots when work quit paying for it. It was super gross. I don't know if it was their gross water or the coffee, but I don't even drink it now.
Speaking of Tim’s, I finally tried it in Buffalo. Only the donuts though. Ryan gets a discount at Starbucks so we always go there even on vacation. The donuts reminded me of Krispy Kreme. Not exactly the same but pretty similar. My favorite was the blueberry old fashioned. It was delicious!
The Dunkin Donuts flavor syrups always taste super fake to me. Almost like a chemical aftertaste. Also, I got a pumpkin iced coffee there when I was in NY in September and that thing was a fucking abomination. When they handed it to me it was literally WHITE. (I'd ordered it with no cream or sugar) then when they remade it it was maybe 1 shade darker. So gross.
