88 today. Stormy and sub-60 through the weekend.
@CoolWife where in CA?
Cypress, have a meeting in El Monte on Wednesday.
@whatchyagonnado - C is up in Greer today and said he thought it was going to be super hot up there. He took an extra shirt to change into before dinner because he sweats like a waterfall.. We are going camping/hiking upstate in 2 weeks and I am really hoping for some cooler weather by then. Even a little bit cooler. For some reason I thought it was cooler up there!
“Snow outside, snow outside, snow outside!!!! Can we build a snowman?!” -C, way too early this morning.
So it begins.
Yuuuup. Also had to deal with the small freak out about why we couldn’t build a snowman yet
We had snow in Toronto this morning as well. Time to get used to brushing off my car. For the last 4 years I have lived in a condo with underground parking. This is going to be a rude awakening
It's currently -22C/-8F. I am not amused
I am WFH today, our snow is already gone.
M loved it this morning though! First time he was really with it enough to understand.
I totally read that as "what fucking hell" at first.
Our snow turned to freezing rain overnight and both kids have far away hockey tournaments this weekend
Is there any other way to read it?
At the risk of being a dummy and you are kidding- Work From Home
I was seriously trying to figure out what that was.
(I didn’t know either! Thanks )
okay good haha I was worried I was missing the joke!
This is bullshit. I can't even find my good snow brush.
I was an hour late today and you bet your ASS I am leaving an hour early.
I’m literally two miles away and was 5 min late.
I went to the daycare with S because we had to haul in all their winter crap, so going in the opposite direction didn't help me.
Also, I need new snow boots. Why are boots so hard, I hate them all.
Ugh I need boots too. No daycare though, closed today for teacher inservice.
So I guess I get to haul all that stuff tomorrow. Yay.
They're pricey, but I have these Manitobah Mukluks and so far love them.
Ohhhhhhh those look super cute on!
I know someone who has those in the light brown colour and they are gorgeous!! I have a pair of the tall suede snowy owl mukluks and they are the warmest boots I’ve ever owned. Plus they are waterproof, so melted snow doesn’t leave any marks.
Oh and if you're wanting a pair I believe code CP25 will get you 25% off.
