Does anyone have a Hello Fresh code they want to share? I think we’re going to give it a try.
I do!! Will send to you!
Thanks @Canaligator ordered! Hoping this will help us mix things up a little. Staring down planning 7 dinners every week is becoming such a chore.
Help me, food safety experts. I ordered some bake-at-home precooked frozen potato balls (fried mashed potato balls stuffed with meat) a few weeks ago from a restaurant. They arrived, and shortly afterwards my pregnancy nausea and aversions kicked in, and I’m sick at the thought of eating them. The box says they should be consumed within a month, but that month is almost up and I’ve barely eaten them. In a few weeks I’ll probably feel fine.
Should I follow the restaurant’s suggestion and toss next week, or do I have a few weeks leeway if they’ve been frozen the whole time? I’d rather be safe than sorry since I’m pregnant, but it also saddens me to waste money on tasty food.
Yeah they may get a little freezer burnt or lose texture but there isn't a food safety risk. As long as they were frozen when you got them and stayed frozen since. If they were thawed at any point, I would say toss them.
