I never liked your spinach puffs
Is it only animated Disney feature film sequels? Because the third High School Musical is the only decent one.
I actually never really liked Toy Story. I think there was too much peril for me as a kid when the first one came out. I think they're fine as films, but I don't really have any warm and fuzzies toward them.
Toy Story was never my cup of tea as a kid. Even though I was a bit of a tom boy when I was younger, I the lack of female characters turned me away I think. Bo and Jessie weren't developed until I had already lost interest. I do want to rewatch it with the kids, though. They may like it.
Lion King 1.5 is the real prequel/companion movie
Second the motion.
I'm leaning no on that, but I've only seen the trailer so @Honey can weigh in if she wants. I'll just say I've had the misfortune of watching other Will Ferrell movies and I don't know that his brand of "magic ex machina" or whatever spirit guide bullshit qualifies as the kind of fantasy this challenge intended.
EDIT: I haven't been counting ghosts as supernatural so if you want to trade your one Will Ferrell movie for the like 20 horror movies I didn't include on my list that's up to you.
So, we watched it last night and I'm not participating in the challenge because I don't watch a lot of movies, so as an impartial observer, I would say it counts based on it only needing an element of magical realism per the rules.
Spoiler: Spoiler: magical realism
There are elf houses that Rachel McAdams brings gifts to for help in winning the contest. At one point, Will Ferrell's character takes them gifts and they stab a guy with a tiny knife that was trying to kill/stop Will from going back to Eurovision.
Okay, so no on the supernatural because it’s not a horror or thriller. Yes on the magical realism. V, your ghost story horror/thrillers absolutely count.
But if you’re going to count this, you should probably watch Stranger Than Fiction and see Will Ferrell be good at magical realism.
Demi Levato as a burnt ghost was going to be my argument.
I know they do, but, like..... I didn't want to completely embarrass everyone with my score.
@Zombie Llama That's more supernatural to me and only counts in thrillers and horrors but could probably count for magical realism, Either way,
I stopped updating at the end of April and now I don’t even know what I have seen anymore or when. What is time.
Watching the third Little Mermaid has raised for me the fact that the oldest sister is in line for the throne. This is a lot more interesting to me than the youngest one fucking around with wanting to be a human. Don't get me wrong, I like the Little Mermaid, but I'd watch a film about the oldest daughter very happily.
Okay, so since October is coming up and since everyone basically forgot about this challenge (which made it easy for me to win muahaha), shall we call it closed so we can start up again October 1 for Halloween?
