I love socks, my feet are usually icicles. Even if I wear ballet flats to work I come home and put on socks. Except this summer I’ve been sweating like a hog so I’m uncharacteristically barefoot when I sleep.
I wear sneakers (in non-pandemic time) and therefore socks if we go somewhere we’ll be doing a ton of walking, like Disney. About 10 times in the “winter” I’ll wear my Uggs to justify keeping them and I wear socks with those. Otherwise I live in sandals and Toms. I actually just purged a bunch of other fall/winter type shoes that I know I’m just never going to wear at this point. Is anyone else feeling like their feet don’t want to wear real shoes after months of not really wearing them?! I’ve been living in flip flops (even at home; I can’t do barefoot unless we just vacuumed) and a few times I’ve worn Toms to a doctor’s appointment to hide my un-pedicured feet. I swear they felt tight even though I know they’re fully broken in and comfy! N said the same about a pair of sneakers.
I kind of feel that way, too. At home I wear grippy socks because my feet get super cracked barefoot, but the range of motion from no shoes feels really nice.
Question of the day 8/3: What's your "unpopular opinion?" Mine: Bacon doesn't make most things better. While it's fine on a BLT or in some salads. I don't get the "it makes everything better" theory.
I like bacon and I think it can be beneficial to a lot of things, but the amount of things its been added to is too much imo. My unpopular opinion: I thought Breaking Bad was boring and I think Rick and Morty is stupid. And not like funny stupid, just stupid.
Shouldn’t have invited me to this QoTD! Cereal ruined itself Nothing Reese’s is good bacon is gross Yas.
Add me to the anti bacon on things train. Regular bacon is great, but beyond a sandwich or fries or baked potato, it's really not great. Same for ham. I like it on it's own, but cant stand it with other foods. Like a ham and cheese tastes so terrible to me.
