But why now? I've never had this reaction before.
Man. So far, being 40 sucks.
I can't drink mimosas anymore. It sucks.
I wore my contacts for overnights and my eyes haaaate me.
that is indeed a cruel twist of fate
We just placed beer orders to deliver to my in laws on Monday so we can pick it up when we're there. One of the breweries released a peach lemonade radler today and I'm so sad. That sounds delicious! If we would have waited I could have ordered it. I'm not paying $20 shipping for a $16 4-pack or spending $85 again to get free shipping.
Oh that’s so much shipping! But that radler sounds delicious!
Did it ship yet? Maybe you can add it.
That does sound good though.
It arrived on Wednesday already! They shipped very fast.
I was SURE I owned this one plant book, but I can’t find it anywhere. Maybe I only almost bought this plant book?
Haha I've been there a few times @Afishwish . If it doesn't break the budget, treat yourself!
I have a very mild, can't even tell unless you look really closely, rash and redness on my face. It started on one cheek, I noticed it this morning, and now its on both. It's not itchy per se, but like I can tell it's there/feel it and I can't think of anything that would have caused it. I didn't use any new products or eat/drink anything this morning that I haven't had before, my pillow cases were washed less than a week ago, we haven't changed detergents etc. The only new things I can think of are I had a new to me beer last night but it's a style I drink often and we put a new scent of febreeze in the bathroom yesterday. I didn't notice anything until this morning so I don't think it is either of those. Ugh.
Could it be temp related? Hormones? Did your mask sit funny for a period of time?
Scents can be irritating, so new Febreeze could be a possibility. Do you have any environmental allergies?
Hormones do weird things to skin, too. When my perioral dermatitis acts up, it’s usually right after I ovulate. Hopefully this is just a temporary thing, but sometimes skin issues just pop up without explainable reason.
I don’t think it’s any of these. I haven’t gone anywhere in a while so no mask issues, temp has been consistent but maybe hormones.
Some seasonal allergies and a few things irritate my skin so maybe it is the febreeze. If it doesn’t go away, we’ll stop using that and see if it gets better.
So, I think it might have been the raw sugar snap peas we had with dinner Thursday night. I had the rest of them yesterday with my lunch and it happened again. We usually have snow peas vs. sugar snap so I don't notice often but thinking about it, this happened last time we had raw sugar snap peas too and I remember telling J I hope it wasn't the peas because I love them! Google tells me this is a common occurrence for some with raw peas that doesn't happen when they are cooked which makes sense.
That’s a bummer but at least you know.
Aw, I’m sorry! At least you know what the cause is.
I don’t understand why you can’t just buy a cell phone anymore. No, I don’t want to pay $13 every month for 30 months. Just take my $400 and give me a stupid phone. And no, I don’t want to upgrade my plan $10 a month so the phone is only $5 a month because then I’m paying $450 for the stupid phone vs $400 since it’s an extra $15 a month like that. And please don’t add the $5/month “next up upgrade plan.” I have an iPhone 5s I’m trading in for a SE 7 months after they came out, do you really think I want that? I just want something I don’t have to charge 3 times a day.
I was excited I thought I found the really good peppermint chocolates we like and they were peppermint salted Carmel and chocolate? Wtf.
That’s ... a lot
Yeah. We’ve had their peppermint patties and their dark chocolate sea salt caramels separately and they’re both super good. But combined? Like I did a triple take. I was telling J and he thinks I should have bought them. Ew.
I’m with you. Weird. And their caramels are sooooo good.
I’d still try it.
