I somehow missed the fact that shipping is $135 due to coming from Thailand. Now to decide if it's worth it (well, it IS worth it, but can I justify that cost lol)

Just found this - it’s quite a bit cheaper than paying for shipping from Thailand on those panels  leaning towards this now. Too much gold if it’s above that end table?

I like that better with the gold table actually.

Aww I've gotten a couple of great gifts from Vivaterra.

I’ve never heard of them! Google found this for me.

Okay, talk to me about joggers - specifically would they work for my fat calves?

I have big calves too and most joggers don’t fit well. I finally found some sweat pant joggers from ON that fit nicely but for the most part, I can’t.

That's what I figured @virgo . I'm scrubs shopping and thought about giving them a try. Based on what I'm seeing, it's not gonna work.

It sucks because they look so cute on other people.

Right? Oh well. I'm used to it at this point.

I have big calves and don’t find joggers to fit badly. I own many many pairs lol. Some fit more legging-like and some are looser, depending on cut/brand.

@megatron what are the brands that fit looser? My problem is usually if they fit loose in the calves then they’re way too big at the waist. I wouldn’t mind checking out the brands you have because maybe they would fit me properly!

@megatron maybe that's the case for regular joggers! I'm just wary because the pics I see of the jogger scrubs are basically slim fit with only a little stretch.

Try the Gap Softspun joggers! They are super comfy and looser.

This is possible. All of my joggers are super stretchy.

I need graduation gift guidance. My niece just graduated from traditional high school. Her sister, who is one year younger, and has been homeschooled for the past two years, will graduate from high school in December. But niece #2 has also been working on her LNA and just finished this month.

This is so stupid but how do you think those two accomplishments compare? (I know nothing about LNA.) Do we send the same gift for both girls? (Obviously we will send another gift to niece #2 in December but since they both have accomplishments right now I just don’t want to send a weird message if that makes any sense at all.)

I’d make a gift that will be the same HS gift (niece #1 now, niece #2 in Dec) and a special gift for the LNA related to nursing or her future career aspirations.

eta/ so maybe Hs means $50 Target Gc and the LNA gets a cute nurses necklace or earrings

I would be cautious with what nursing related item you get her. Nursing assistants work in the nursing field but are not nurses so many things are not super applicable. It’s also bad luck to use your title until it’s actually yours, so until she sits her certification test I wouldn’t do anything specific.

What about fun compression socks? I feel like no matter what kind of nursing work she'd be doing, those will come in handy.

Those would be cute! Or a badge reel that fits her personality, etc.
