The House is set to vote on a Homeland appropriations bill soon, but these CBP guys are such right wing nutjobs that it won't stop them. Plus, all the nutjobs that will now masquerade as federal agents.

I am very scared for Chicago. It's a giant powder keg compared to Portland (which was practice, in my opinion).

I have no idea if it can be stopped.

The only way republicans will grow up is if it becomes VERY clear the Trump ship’s sinking, and they don’t want to be on it.

    Apparently even fucking Duterte
    isn’t allowing in-person teaching until there’s a vaccine.

Duterte is being more sensible than many of our politicians. Wtf, 2020?!*

*I realize that’s this year’s motto, but really?!

Wow, that's actually even more of shitshow than it has been here considering the millions of shanty houses. I don't disagree with him but wow.

I'm sure this is shocking commentary. If our experience has been any indication, the census has been hella disorganized at best. I answered the very first letter sent to our Hayward apartment and gave the Fresno address as a second residence. This was back in Feb. We kept getting letters that said to ignore if we've already responded. Okay, cool.

Except they don't mean that. We've received many letters to both addresses, phone calls to both cell phones asking the same questions, visits to both apartments, etc. At least with the visits, the second person was surprised to hear we had already answered questions on the phone. We have a some friends who experienced the same with only one address while one with addresses in different states was apparently done with just one response.

I shudder to think of how much money and effort is being wasted.
