looks like DIY from someone's kid sister.

It is nice that sometimes blogged wedding aren't perfect though. I know I felt like certain details were ridiculously important during planning and seeing things not turn out perfectly online helped keep it in perspective a little.

I can frost a cake better than that. And I never make cake.

Me too. It looks homemade so it's probably delicious. Plus that frosting looks like it's about an inch thick, and I love me some frosting.

Good call, honey. frosting is what its all about. Honestly, I picked my cake design based on what looked like it would have the most frosting.

We didn't pick ours. I went to the cake lady, told her our colors and requested a non-fondant cake that feeds x people.

    "Interesting" Cakes

There is an interesting ring thread, thought maybe we could use an interesting cake one.
Here was what prompted my inspiration:

Why is there a rivulet of diarrhea running down the cake?

Gone are the days of "I want a piece with a flower on it". Give me the damn dragon head or sea urchin.

Reminds me of my nieces and nephews asking to lick the frosting off the candles. They'd be asking to lick the pope.

    Re: "Interesting" Cakes

Am I the only one who doesn't see the pope on that cake? Haha all I see is the diarrhea dragon and the couple with the bride leaning her head on the groom's shoulder. Under the house like arch meant to symbolize the church I assume.

As for the dragon - don't show it to my FI, or he will want a dragon on our cake haha. Or a dinosaur...

Oh good, thought I was going crazy for a second! PPs mentioning dragon eating the pope, kids wanting to lick the pope on the cake, etc. I'm like ''where the heck is the pope? I don't see him anywhere?!"

I had to zoom in on the topper. I thought it looked like a white chocolate Virgin Mary at first.

I zoomed in on it using Paint (I know I know, I don't have photoshop or anything good lol) and noticed some sort of mass above the bride's head, assuming that is it lol.
