Do you mean you would keep just the wooden framework, or the screening behind it too? I want to keep the framework, but lose the screen. I’m open to any suggestions!

I’d want to cover the speaker screening with a fun fabric, paint the framework, paint the glass with chalkboard paint, and then chalk fun title screens on it, like Bewitched or Frasier. Switch it up every now and then, yknow?

I’d rework the framework into either a single panel that rolls up like a barrister bookcase door or split it into two doors and paint the outside frame and that trim in a contrasting color from the rear of the doors.

Not exactly Martha Stewart, but at least it's fun! Ryder's snuffle mat is shaping up okay. I'm not sure if I'll use the whole sink mat though.

My gauge swatch is 4.25” square, it’s supposed to be 3.5”. I don’t have a smaller hook here. Should I go home tonight and find one or just go with it?

I assume this was from you. A baby blanket.

Yes, it was. I wouldn't worry about gauge for a blanket.

Would about 40 small organza bags in various colors be of use to any of you? They’re about 3.5”x4.75” and I will mail them for free to anyone who wants them.

Is anyone actually making masks? I'll pay for a couple :/ Cuomo announced that face coverings are required in public now and I really dont want to tie a scarf around my face because it's not that cold. I'm not crafty. I can go the Etsy route, but I feel like they're going to be backlogged like everything else. I'll of course pay for materials, time, and shipping.

I have a couple because @LouiseBelcher blessed me but otherwise I use a UPF buff to cover my face during neighborhood walks

I'm selling masks over on my personal FB page. If we aren't already FB friends, send me a request, check out the fabrics and let me know if you are interested in any. I'm working like mad to get the orders sewed up and out the door, but basically give me a week to complete, sometimes I get them out faster.

I need a pen or such to write on slate. I bought some acrylic ones, but they get caught on the slate and micro dots of paint goes everywhere. Is there something that is more brush like, but still relatively fine and waterproof?

This is so dumb, but I got B and me new toothbrushes and the packet was 2 of the same color (how would we tell the difference?) So I painted the stem of one toothbrush with nail polish.

Felt like too tiny a victory for Rave/Brag, but still kind of crafty.

@Fitz ok the toothbrush color matters!! This is a great idea lol. We try to keep our colors the same but then the pack color changes and I have to remember if I’m blue or grey and it’s so hard some days

    what a NEP lol!

@Fitz it should be illegal to sell two of the same color in a pack!

We recently swapped—used to be blue and pink and now are blue and green. JD was the first to use it and used the blue, which was good, keep him with the same color. Then I realized mine was wet one day and when I reminded him green was mine he was like “no green is mine, I’ve been using that one for a week. What color was mine before?” :wall:

We use the same Sonicare toothbrush and different heads...so of course the heads are identical. We use a Sharpie to mark K's.

Yeah usually I'm purple and B is green. We got two purples, but I had a nail polish almost the exact color of the green we usually have for B.

So I bought a cheap pack of assorted buttons to sew on my new bandana headbands for work. I figured that I could just grab the top 20 buttons and work from there.

Hahaha okay sure, me. I just spent a half hour meticulously sorting the bag and creating groups of four by size and 2 vs 4 holes.

C1 and I tie dyed some shirts last night. It was super fun and they turned out super cute. I’m sad I didn’t make one for myself, lol. C1 wanted to make matching shirts for himself and C2 and they turned out so cool.

This time I got bigger bottles of dye. I have more onesies for the babby, a couple long sleeve tees for C1, a tee each for me and D, and most importantly a canvas backpack for C1 will be here today.
Assuming it really will do “15 shirts” worth, what else should we add to the tie dye party?
