Poor minnow couldn’t breathe through her nose, so I used an aspirator and baby nose picker. I extracted a booger that would have been big coming from my nose, let alone a cute little baby one. It was impressive. Now she’s a happy little bug.
It's Wednesday, my dudes. Which means yesterday was NOT Wednesday, and the garbage bins I took in last night were actually the full ones meant to be picked up today. Full facepalm. Better luck next week.
I'm sure my upstairs neighbour thinks I'm an idiot. And probably I am one, so what can I say in the face of this kind of evidence?
Meanwhile, I’ve been wondering why the dogs (read: Kit, with Hazel standing by wagging her tail happy to be involved) have been bugging so much earlier for dinner on the days I’m off. They’re supposed to be fed at fine. Apparently Z has started feeding them at 4:20 because it’s a “funny number.”
OMJG. That sounds like he just made it his chore forever lol. I deliberately feed the cat late so that he doesn't finish early and start harassing me for more.
Got my second vaccine shot today! I think the pharmacist was having a bad day because he stabbed me so hard, it’s sore already.
Boo on the hard jab, but yay on your second dose being done! Rooster signed us up for the vaccine and only I was able to get an appointment. I get my shot next week. It’s the Pfizer shot and will be at Microsoft’s campus. I feel a bit guilty doing it when my pre-existing condition has never given me trouble and I have the ability to be a hermit, but at the same time we’re super close to anyone being able to get it around here and my shot will give Minnow some immunity.
Good job, grandma and grandpa. The preschooler’s now telling rabbi jokes. And this is a 4 year old, so the jokes are things like “a rabbi goes into a pet store and gets a baby with no car seat.”
Oh, no. Things you’d never think you’d have to explain to adults that are not appropriate to teach kids, huh?
They have to now deal with a small child inventing jokes on an incessant loop, so justice has sort of served itself here.
Whoever is in charge of the Microsoft vaccination site’s signage has clearly worked with the public before. There is an excessive amount of signage with very large arrows. I approve of this level of dummy-proofed redundancy.
Today I have swollen lymph nodes and minor aches. I don’t feel too bad, just wiped. I’m glad the in-laws are here to help with the kids, because I really needed a nap around 11. Also, the rabbi jokes are still happening.
