Probably. I think it may be a larger factor in his eating epoch than I initially thought (no adjustable foot rest). But my likelihood of impulse buying goes up in the evening so it has to sit in my cart.

We really like our high chair but no footrest. It does convert to a kitchen helper though.

Sit me up seat and swing come into my mind.

The swing especially. We used it a little bit when she was younger but not enough to justify the cost. So it's become a very large, expensive coat rack

And, in pandemic times, the 3 car seat bases. We barely go anywhere so 1 would’ve been fine.

All the high chair regret. The Ikea one was the way to go.

Oh and my hands free pump that I have barely used because again, we go nowhere. $400 down the drain.

OMJG this Jeff Goldblum damn chair. This is what we used for D and I haaaated it. I was so tempted to buy another one, but just suffered through it. Ugh. So awful.

The Graco 7-1 convertible high chair is a big ugly monstrosity but I overall like it and would recommend it to others

We didn’t get a high chair but a Fisher-Price Healthy Care booster we put on a shitty old chair. It was very wipeable and easy to hose off if things got bad. It’ll still be usable for minnow.

My two cents is no fabric ever for things that kids will be eating on, but we’re also the sort of people who’d just strip our kid down to his diaper at mealtime.

To be fair, in non-pandemic times you would have been glad for them.

It’s done. I’m disgusted with how much it is. At least it’s cheaper than the car seat.

Did you get the Stokke or which one?

Ugh. Yes. I would have gotten the Clikk but they were sold out so onto the Tripp Trapp I went.

I love C1’s. D talked me into a cheaper one for C2 but we’ll see how it works.

I looked at a similar chair when I was deep in Nook hate, but couldn't pull the trigger.

... should I send you my Nook?

I do like it, except the foot bar.

When I worked as a nanny, the family I worked for had one and I sat on it all the time lol it wasnt being used as a high chair anymore by the time I started working, just a regular chair.

Please don't. I hate cleaning this thing. But I do love the tray.

Good thing I waited just long enough to buy a booster for E. She can just sit at a regular table chair now. We still have the high chair out but haven’t used it in a while. I asked J if we should put it up for now and he was like “well we’re gonna need it soon right?” I mean...if you want to just stare at it for 6+ months?

Tripp Trapp is here. It’s nice. It’s easier to clean than the Joovy. It still seems ridiculously expensive, but I’m glad I bought it and wish I had just bought it first. Hopefully this will get us through without buying booster seats and such.
