Aw, poor Milton.
Oh little Milton, break my heart.
Anderson Pooper is a very frequent flyer on our floor currently and it is great to get a puppy snug first thing in the workday.
When we arrived at the vet, all was forgiven and he began demanding belly rubs of all passersby
Poor Milton. Is he like that for all car rides or was this his first car ride without a sister?
First non-sister. I think he thought he was getting taken back to the shelter.
Aww. This just makes me love him more (as with all damaged boys).
Poor sweet boy, hopefully soon he realizes he doesn't have to worry.
He was super clingy when I picked him up, poor puppo.
He had his neuter today and his heartworm test (negative!). He does have a smol heart murmur, which is extremely NEP compared to what the kid has already been through, but still a bummer that he has one more thing to keep an eye on.
The staff at the vet clinic got together and gave him/me a Halloween gift basket and there were cards talking about how worried they were that he wouldn’t make it out of the shelter at all, much less end up in a good home and I got all teary.
OH! There was a German Shepherd there also named Milton when we dropped him off. And the owner’s young daughter was named Magnolia!
What a coincidence! Wishing Milton a speedy recovery from his snip
This is a game I call "does Sheldon actually want to be touched or not?" Choose wrong and he will leave. Pet him when he just wanted you to look at him? He's gone! Look at him when he actually wanted pets? Bye!
I gave him one head pat then let him be and he sat on my lap for an hour.
100000% that is Olive. Like, don't dare touch her but you damn well better let her lay on you when she pleases.
Sometimes I’m really impressed by my dog’s farts.
But also terrified.
You gotta get a raised dog bowl and use probiotics and also eliminate food sensitivities
It doesn’t happen often. I think it was gulped air. But wow, when it does happen...
What’s that life like?
The real #pitbullproblem
Ben had some silent but deadly farts the other night. Luckily it’s rare because it was nasty.
He’d been acting normally so far this morning so I assumed the high had worn off. Then I look over and see this
We just got back from the hospital and Lacey is super into E now. She’s constantly trying to sniff her, lick her face, and get close to her. I feel like Lacey has a new BFF.
I love that @moose. C has totally replaced me as Indy's favorite human and I'm not mad about it.
One risk of this surgery is “loss of ear carriage” which just means “these bitches gonna be flappy now”
THIS IS A PLUS, NOT A MINUS IMO
Me to other dog owners: most dogs do great boarding! It's like their own vacation and they will be happy and excited when you pick them up!
Me as a dog owner: OMG, Vixen has never boarded this long before! She's going to forget about me and when I pick her up she won't love me anymore
I mean... Mags and Astrid love boarding but also WHY BABY IS ABANDONED
