    Exactly. Exactly exactly.

I guess if they think the circles existing will make the rules more enforceable then okay, whatever makes you feel better, but I don't feel like I needed to be hearing the wondrous glee of these reporters waxing poetic about the circles all day long.

As someone new to Toronto, I did not know what TBP was until the news story. I don't really get the appeal. TG says people will travel from other areas of the city to hang out there, which is odd considering how many parks this city has.

Hahaha really Toronto?? So ridiculous, like that will actually make a difference to all the people who already don’t care.

They did it at our local park. It actually made a difference in how people congregated.

Sure, to give visual reference for people who are actively trying to maintain safe distance. But this particular park in Toronto was packed like a music festival the other weekend. I doubt the circles would matter at all to those people though.

I don't know if this happened elsewhere in Canada, but at many schools in my hometown they played a different version of the anthem before announcements each day of the week. Friday was everyone's favourite because it was a fun acapella version by The Nylons. I played it for rounds today and everyone liked it. Or at least they said they did even if they were just humouring me

Yes, my high school did, and we also got the cool acapella version! I can hear it in my head just thinking of it now

ETA: I just asked rooster and his played the same boring instrumental version every single day. Lame.
