We’re so happy and proud to be a small part of that well-earned, much deserved success
This is really just a luck and who-you-know brag, but still.
TG and Carly are going to be in a commercial. One of his best friends works in advertising and has a client that needed to shoot an ad and had to be creative due to covid. So our buddy pitched an idea of home video type shots with the theme being weird things people are caught doing during lockdown. There will be a bunch of cell phone camera videos and one will feature TG and Carly. TG is laying on his back with his hair displayed around his head (for those not FB friends with me, TG has a lions mane of chestnut ringlets down to his mid-back that are beautiful - he gets stopped in the street by people commenting on them). When the camera pans up to his hair you see Carly chewing on it.
I have no idea if this is an ad that will play on youtube, tv or just in dedicated online spaces but once I get a hold of it I will share.
Here it is!
Watch "Safe at Home | Onlia" on YouTube
Wooo, TG! I knew he had luxurious locks, but seeing them displayed like that? Dang.
LOL I had no idea who “Carly” was and I thought maybe she was a small celebrity or something and maybe it as supposed to be funny/sexy with her chewing the hair? Oh man that was a great laugh.
That is hysterical!
Appraisal went great and it's finally sinking in that in less than two months, we'll be in a house.
Frantic bookmarking of decorating ideas has commenced.
Don’t decorate at first! Do it slowly so you don’t end up with stuff you picked in a rush
Agreed. Enjoy the hunt. Find the right things. The experts say to not even pick paint colors before you move in.
Agreed. Get some paint samples and paint as big a swatch as you can in each room and see if you like how the light hits it.
(Says the woman with only one painted room in the house she's had since February)
I’ll already be working when we move so I think things will necessarily be slow. Still fun to daydream about shower curtains and kitchenware though!
Seconding @A. Ham on painting big swatches and living with them for some time. Paint is weird.
We finished painting our house (except the kitchen and upstairs hallway, those are still white) like 2 years ago. We moved in 7 years ago.
Hell, we started painting the exterior of our house a little over three years ago. We have not yet finished. It looks mostly done from the road.
We hired painters when we moved in but the previous owners had colourful tastes and I was very unwilling to live with it.
This will be anyone who moves into a home I’ve lived in.
Yeah I hope whoever buys this house from us appreciates Florida AF colors. I have zero desire to repaint before selling but it is all SO BRIGHT haha
When I got home with D yesterday, there were 4 Starbucks drinks in the fridge for me
I drank my entire latte this morning while it was still warm.
The dream! I think I’m actually going to buy an insulated coffee mug for my morning coffees so that I too can drink my coffee while it’s hot, once again.
Z’s 30th birthday call was today.
I know he’s been feeling disconnected and off, and to see so many of his friends make time for him and be so excited, loving and enthusiastic made him so happy.
He also just has great friends. They were all sending me messages about how delighted they were that this was happening. When he realized that actually everyone he had wanted to be there made the time, he was so, so happy.
My child shares my love of grilled cheese. #blessed
