That’s really annoying.
I lost my 600+ day streak on myfitnesspal. Darnit
I looked so cute this morning before I left for work. Of course in the lighting at work, I look like one of the witches in Macbeth.
I just made $200 selling some baby stuff, and this morning we just had to pay a plumber $200 to get some branches out of the pipes. Easy come easy go I guess. I did have more fun plans for that money...
Why does the smoke detector randomly decide it needs to be reset and chirp until someone does? At least I was able to quickly feed the kid far away from the offending device quickly and then we escaped and went on a walk until R got home and dealt with it.
So apparently when we put 10-year batteries in the smoke detectors, we skipped our room because it has a higher ceiling. We learned this at 2:40 this morning when it started chirping and R disconnected it and pulled out the battery (there’s another in the hall less than 2’ away so it’s not like we were doing something reckless). Makes sense that on the 1 year anniversary of first night with baby that we’d be exhausted and stressed.
I hate when I change something about my makeup routine (new foundation in this case) and it looks so, so much better. Like...have I been walking around looking like a damn clown for the last three years I was using the other stuff?
What foundation? My go to changed formula and I hateeee it. I only use it for special events and I feel like it makes me look shiny and I have to smash powder all over my face to even it out.
@whatchyagonnado that's why I switched too - I would've just moved to the new formula, but they changed all the color names so I didn't know what to order. Went into an Ulta and boom, walk out with the Mac studio fix fluid...it looks a million times better and holds up great throughout the day.
We're moving in the next couple weeks I think so I'm trying to catch up on laundry. It's so hard in winter because we don't have a drier and everything takes days. I've got it down to 6 loads which seems doable but I'm gonna have to keep wearing clothes like every damn day. Ughhh
Sucks! Is there a laundromat you can go to to just knock it out?
There is one, it's not open at convenient times (pretty much all brits have a washer in their kitchen), and it's about a 30 minute walk away. We don't have a car and I can't really justify getting taxis and also paying for laundry. It's just a pain in the ass lol. When we moved before it was summer so this rush to get things all cleaned before packing was much less
Oh that sucks.
Mr. Nice Guy..... sigh
He showed at rehearsal tonight.
I'm not sure if I mentioned in here the long text he sent me in December. It started with him saying I didn't have to respond and it ended with him asking me to get coffee sometime. I did not respond.
Tonight during break he walked up to TG and I to just casually chat about the show and name drop the professional productions of it he has seen.
TG thinks he may be on the spectrum.
What makes him think that?
His inability to take a hint or accept that I don't want to be his friend. He thinks he genuinely doesn't get it
I think TG is being too generous.
I just think he is an asshole.
Instead of subbing the espresso shots in our americanos for blonde espresso, I’m pretty sure they added 3 shots. So our grande americanos are 6 shots - because this is a stroooong coffee - much stronger than usual. And now I can’t drink it all because a 6 shot coffee while you are nursing isn’t the greatest idea, even if you only got two or three hours of sleep last night.
It’ll be good iced coffee tomorrow morning?
As I walked out of my building, a massive gust of wind hit me in the face on right side. It was so much wind that my right eye started tearing up. Like I’m majorly crying out of one eye and then someone I know sees me and is all “are you okay?” Yes, I’m just here embarrassed and looking like a crazy person.
C wakes up between 6 an 6:30 most mornings. We were hoping he'd get up really early today because my best friend is getting into town around 10am and there's an event we want to go to that only lasts until 1pm. If he got up early, we could put him down for morning nap early and make it to the event before it's over at 1pm. He is still asleep right now.
It's unreal how these tiny creatures have such a knack for sabotage.
My BIL got Fry a talking microscope. It’s essentially a viewfinder with microscope form factor and Bindi Irwin narrating and quizzing you on each slide. Initially I thought it was pretty awesome. Then five minutes passed of Bindi just not shutting up.
What a gift to give people going stir crazy. I never thought I’d hate an Irwin, but fuck you, Bindi.
All of my BIL’s gifts to Fry are of this spirit. Net positive, but with brotherly revenge in mind. The problem is I’m subjected to this stuff more than rooster.
Lolol we got that for our nephew for Christmas last year.
