P’s was 2 hours. We just went to a classmates party that was 3 hours. Only stayed for 2, though.
S has a couple school friends with a birthday coming up and I think I will just do a Target gift card so they can choose something they like. Do you think $15 each is adequate for 6 year old twins? Or is that stingy? I dont know the going rate for these things.
I think a gift card is a great idea and $15 seems very reasonable to me. I usually spend $15-20 on gifts for most of the kid birthday parties we go to.
I think even $10 is totally fine!!
I feel like at 6 the novelty of getting a gift card and getting to choose whatever I wanted would trump all else.
We are just doing a lowkey day tomorrow for C’s birthday (its mid next week). I got his favorite though- puppy themed supplies complete with an assortment of puppy balloons. They have feet and everything and its adorable. I cant wait for him to wake up tomorrow.
All those balloons! I want to wake up to that tomorrow.
Ok, I want that for my birthday.
That is amazing!
They have large packs of balloons with more doggos too
All the pugs! Love it
Did C LOVE it???
I am still trying to pick out a theme for E’s second coming up. I really want it to be something she just loves. I want her to squeal with delight. We were first thinking Sesame Street primary colors with a focus on Elmo and Cookie Monster, who she does like, but she’s not like, obsessed.
She does love pigs a lot so we have lots of pig toys and books that have been given, but just a pig party might be weird so I was thinking like barnyard animals with a heavy focus on pigs? I could make a cake with just a pig on the front haha.
Why would you not have a pig party. That sounds ADORABLE.
Yeah, I'd totally lean into a pig party. Kids are weird and have weird niche interests and it's the best.
OMJG do it!
Lol you don’t think it would be creepy if it was just pigs everywhere?
It’s a cute animal and a two year old’s party! Not creepy lol.
The girl really does love her Big Pig
@scotchbutter yes! We took the puppies for a walk!
Also a pig party would be awesome! C also loves piggies and I think the options for a party are so cute!
I legit liked then unliked that photo of E & the pig just so I could like it again.
Pigs are an adorable theme for a 2 yr old’s party!
Definitely go pig!
