Someone needs this chandelier.
I call not it.
I’ve already had one friend send it to me because they know our octopus obsession. But no. Just no.
I would love it in the corner of the basement fun room, man cave-ish space.
That octopus doesn’t seem like “hey, swing by for some beers and a few laughs.” It seems more like “look at me wrong and I’ll cut you.”
I dig it. But not for $21,000.
That's why it needs to be in the corner @MagnificentCat .
I am an octopus fan, but that thing gets a no from me.
It looks like a sculpture of found objects. There are like six different design styles going on.
If it were red, I think someone in Detroit would actually want that lol.
You are not wrong.
I am so used to seeing them, that I wasn't immediately repulsed by it, actually lololol.
OMJG there is a red one. Only $21k.
Jesus. I guess it would technically need to be purple with a red t-shirt, right?
I need curtains/blinds for our Victorian rental. Recommendations on where to look online or in person?
My apartments have always come with blinds so I am a complete novice.
I got some nice custom made curtains from Etsy. I’ve also bought curtains from BB&B, Target and Ikea. I don’t like blinds but I know BB&B has them. If you want something that matches the period of the house, there’s a shop in Alameda called The Shade Shop that specializes in shades for Victorians.
Found this at homegoods yesterday!
I was really hoping it was creeping up the wall but that’s still super cute.
SUCH a good idea haha! Too bad it’s way too heavy for that.
Which color of this sofa does the coop like?
I think I'm open to any of them except the yellow. We just were at the showroom and tried it out, it's very comfy, and I think it's pretty practical too with the storage.
The living room is going to be mainly this color: https://www.farrow-ball.com/paint-c...TZma-u0pCn6Q7RAolUyR8hDoy7dF09z8aAnOCEALw_wcB with some kind of white or cream trim. The room also has a brick fireplace and a door that is natural wood.
I like the quartz blue! Maybe with some red and/or brown throw pillows/blanket?
But I’m currently in my living room which has a lot of light blue, navy-ish blue similar to the quartz blue, brown, and red, so I may be biased.
Sherbet blue is close to the color our couch is and I love it. (Well, hate my couch but love its color). When we get a new couch, I'm going for a similar color.
Boo my vote would be the yellow, but if not that then the quartz blue.
I definitely prefer both blues to the grey! I'm not a big fan of red/brown I think, but I feel like quartz blue would go pretty well with a lot of different shades. Sherbet blue is my fave just in general, but I'm having trouble picturing it in the room--it's not exactly the color of the walls, but I don't know if it's too close, you know?
The yellow is pretty cool but I'm just not feeling it for the house and our decorating plans.
Honestly the yellow. But STFU you're wrong fine sherbet blue.
