WHY HAVE SO MANY OF YOU NEVER WATCHED THIS AMAZING SHOW
See I wondered. After I posted I googled and was like that has GOT to be intentional.
I have seen the show and I didn’t love it. I love sci-fi stuff, but I will never bother to rewatch this. I’m glad I understand the pop culture references, but that’s it.
LOL, I was thinking just the scales but being Lady Justice is so much better.
I love #1 but I also really appreciate the “upside-down” aspect of #2. And I love the show.
Don't know anything about the show either, but I vote #2.
Another vote for #2.
Question for the peanut gallery. Is a pirate and parrot costume cliche? Pirate would be me, Parrot would be baby M, and maybe I'd dress up J as a plank?
Cliche or classic?
It might be, but also cute AF. I'd do it.
Classic, cute AF and requires pictures (for science, of course)
I think it would be adorable! I think O will be a train this year (of course). Trying to figure out cute coordinating costumes. I guess we could also be trains and Rose and Tam could be conductors?
One of you should be the train sign with the bars that come down.
Do you have a wagon to take him out in for Halloween? Decorate it as a train, O can be the conductor, whoever is pulling him could be @shakespeer idea of the cross/bars signs
I think it’s adorable to be practical and you know one of you will be reaching down all the time to stop him from climbing that/putting that in his mouth all the time anyway.
especially liking for J as the plank
And on a fun note, there is a fairy con in my area happening in November, which is basically like getting a 2nd Halloween. I'll be doing steampunk fairy costumes for me and the little one.
When J and I hand out candy this year, we will be wearing this:
I think T-rex needs some tsujing. Maybe a tutu.
Finally, something I can do with the ~50 tampons I have leftover since I started using the diva cup!
Going to look for Halloween costumes today! I’m ridiculously excited to choose a costume for L. If at all possible, I want to do some type of family costume for all of us. I also kind of love the idea of doing some type of bird for L, because our nickname for her is baby bird. I love both of these:
And then N and I could be zookeepers, which seems not too hard or expensive to put together.
But! I’m so concerned that the smallest size is 3-6 months. L doesn’t even fit into 0-3 size clothes yet. Are costumes somehow more flexible? Because I’m not seeing ANY in size newborn, at least online.
Then Target has this, which somehow is 0-6 months (that’s quite the range no?) But N isn’t too excited to do a Harry Potter theme and he indulges me so much with HP in general I hate to push it. And I’m not sure what other family theme works with an owl.
I thought about doing something cute with her Ergobaby carrier, but everything I found was highly DIY and we just don’t have the time or energy for that this year.
We’re going to Carters, Spirit Halloween, and Target tonight and hoping to either find costumes, get inspired, or at the very least, confirm that any of these baby costumes will even fit our little bird!
Omg I am all about Baby Bird L!
@Kimmers Carters website has carrier based costumes!
Flamingo for L, plush hedgehog, and you’re Alice!!!
