Thank you everyone! The shock has started to wear off and D is super excited too. We were honestly just thinking the stress of a pandemic, working from home while chasing a 15 month old, and job stress would be too much for any chance at getting pregnant. I should have known something was up when E’s diapers were making me gag and my boobs were dying when he nursed but I was obviously in denial. It looks like my due date will likely be within a week of his birthday!
Congrats! My kids' birthdays are exactly a week apart!
Congrats! Our boys are similarly spaced & it's hectic but fun!
30 weeks today! Fundal height measuring exactly 30 weeks, good doppler heartbeat, and he’s HEAD DOWN. Let’s see if he stays that way but all good news so far!
Oh my gosh that went so fast! You’re in the home stretch now.
75% through already?! He will be here before you know it!
Yay! It's getting so close!
Yay! So excited for you!
30 weeks already?! Damn where did the last few months go. Glad to hear everything looks good!
AND they said all is well at the hospital so far and they are now allowing birth partner + doula for all births, even c-sections unless it’s a super emergency situation. So that was reassuring too.
My aunt complimented me this week on looking cute because I’m already showing.
I’m 8 weeks. I am not showing at all, but have gained two pounds, and always gain in my torso. Thanks, aunt. Glad to know what you think two fucking pounds does to me.
Wow that's so rude!
I learned this time and have gone straight to nursing bras since my normal ones don’t fit now. Aaaah, it’s nice to be properly wrangled again.
Last pregnancy the dog was very frigid with me, and would always look at me with a betrayed expression. This time he’s being super protective, not leaving my side when I sleep.
I had an appointment today to see if I should be on blood thinners (I have factor V, a gene that increases clotting risk). I’ll have to give myself daily blood thinner injections until 6 was pp and go on baby aspirin, Calcium, and Vitamin D. Not jazzed about the injections, but it’s probably better to do them than not.
I’m sorry that it’s crappy, but happy that you have a preventative plan in place!
I feel like this baby is going to Fall. Out.
If only but also, sorry for your misery second babies are so much worse!
So much worse!
