Thank you all for agreeing with me and this week’s meal plan I will be submitting this as evidence to my husband.
My best is back for the weekend. She sneak texted me a picture of my house from out her window and I just ran over there to give her a massive hug. This morning we had cooperative brunch where we just say what we have on hand in our houses and make up a menu from it. We had blueberry waffles and mango-pineapple-orange cocktails. Then we worked on our gardens and I gave her the plant present I had been saving for her. She’s got to report back to her unit tomorrow evening and I already don’t want her to go.
My parents cut each others hair yesterday and my dad is dying my mom’s hair tomorrow. I’m glad they are staying inside and also my dad did NOT do a bad job at all on my mom’s layers haha Meanwhile I somehow convinced A to help me with a project from leftover crap from other projects and also madd him deep clean all of the carpets.
I do need to cut the guys’ hair here, but that’s normal. I’m not letting D come near mine with scissors. I’m restraining myself on dyeing it so I can get some blonder highlights, you know, someday. It was soooooo nice today. C1 and I went for a nice walk, which I need to do more of because sitting on my ass in a hospital for 3 months hasn’t done it any favors.
I know everyone has seen this already but idc. A dad was reading it out loud to one of my moms, and I lost it. Normally I try to pretend I can't hear when people are talking to each other, but I couldnt help it today. We all bonded.
We just pulled into what looks like a metal scrapyard to eat takeout bar pizza and I’m drinking a Trillium beer in the car. No Rules May has begun for real.
Going into Week 8 of quarantine like.... me: oh, the winery with that red I like delivers if you purchase a whole case Rooster: do it! Me: that’s 12 bottles though Rooster: do it. Me: that’s almost $250 before taxes Rooster: Do. It.
We’re at Jeremiah’s getting quarts of Italian ice to go and L is basically dead of excitement of getting to go for her first car ride in 54 days (me too honestly). She’s pointing at everything and just grinning and laughing nonstop.
